The company is headquartered at Armonk, New York, U.S.A and established by Charles Ranlett Flint during the year 1911. Interesting fact is that, in the initial years, IBM was not a single company rather they were the merger of three companies such as tabulating machine company, computing Scale Company and international time recording company.
